Ameda Finesse Breast Pump Pros and Con Review
With so many breast pumps out on the market, how do you know which one to choose? I hope after you watch my review, it helps you make your final choice.
I was the first in my family to breast feed and pump so I had to learn everything on my own and through trial and error, including breast pumping. So let's say, this was a journey but one I would do again. I attended The Prego Expo where I found out that my insurance could possible cover a breast pump. So I applied at AeroFlow Breastpumps and come to find out, it did! Aeroflow sent me multiple breast pumps and after research I chose the Ameda Finesse Brest Pump.
Through my journey of pumping I learned that I was not tied down to Ameda's merchandise. So I experimented with a few and below are my must haves while pumping:
Must Haves:
- The Honest Co. Nipple Balm
- Heating Mug
- Peak Car Converter
- Lansinoh Nursing Pads
- Lansinoh Milk Storage Bags

What I liked about this pump is: It gets the job done. The suction is good and I never felt like there was more milk that needed to be taken out. Second, it is easy to travel with. Watch the video to see all that is included with your pump. Lastly, their customer service is great. Since I did not have anyone in my family I could go to for advice, it was nice to have somewhere to call for guidance.
There was only one thing I did not like and it had nothing to do with the pump. It was the action itself. I am not sure if some moms are afraid to say this, but I HATE PUMPING! Being stuck to a machine every two hours for 20-30 minutes was torture. But, I would gladly do it again because I know how beneficial it is for my babies.
Overall, I liked the pump and would happily recommend it to anyone who is embarking on this journey. For more details check out my video above!
